Dr. Mauss believes good medicine emphasizes prevention, education, and improving the quality of life. She utilizes an array of approaches to care for her patients, including but not limited to: botanical medicine, nutrition, joint/musculoskeletal injections, IV therapy, and pharmaceuticals.
Additionally, Dr. Mauss is trained and licensed to practice Acupuncture. She has found it to be a highly effective treatment alone or in combination with other modalities. Dr. Mauss is able to provide this service as a standalone or as part of larger treatment plans.

Educational Background:
Dr. Mauss grew up in the mountains of Virginia. She attended Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, earning a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Human Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Concurrently, she became a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and volunteered with a local rescue squad throughout her undergraduate. Following this, she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). She then completed a post-graduate residency in Naturopathic general family practice at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Tempe, Arizona. Since the completion of her residency, she has attended numerous post-doctorate training in Lyme disease and Tick-borne illnesses. Dr. Mauss is currently licensed to practice naturopathic medicine and acupuncture in the state of New Hampshire.
